Onlymyhealth Tamil

Have you ever wished to have that shiny, silky, and long hair shown in the advertisements?  With the abundance of hair care products available in the market, it's easy to get overwhelmed and spend a fortune on various treatments. But what if I told you that you can achieve healthier hair using simple, single ingredients found in your kitchen?

Dr Vibhuti Dhaundiyal, Aesthetic Physician, RV LUXE Clinic, Noida, said that it might not be necessary for everyone to use hair products every day. It is crucial to keep your scalp clean because an unclean scalp can serve as a breeding ground for many problems, including infections and dandruff, which can lead to hair loss and thinning.

Ingredients For Healthy Hair

coconut-oil

Coconut Oil

Make coconut oil your best friend if you have damaged, frizzy, and brittle hair. It penetrates deep into the hair shaft, moisturising and conditioning the strands from within. Apply warm coconut oil to your hair, focusing on the ends, and leave it on for at least 30 minutes before rinsing. Regular use can help repair damaged hair, reduce frizz, and promote healthy growth.

When used as a pre-wash and post-wash grooming product, coconut oil was proven to significantly minimise protein loss for both undamaged and damaged hair, according to the Journal of Cosmetic Science.

Avocado

Rich in healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals, avocados are not only a nutritious addition to your diet but also a fantastic hair treatment. Use mashed avocado as a hair mask. It nourishes and strengthens the hair, leaving hair softer, smoother, and manageable.

aloe-vera-gel

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is a medicinal plant that has a plethora of benefits, including hair care. Its soothing and healing properties can repair damaged hair and add shine to it. Extract the gel from an aloe vera leaf and apply it directly to your scalp and hair. It helps balance the scalp's pH level, reduces dandruff, and promotes healthy hair growth.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Although it may seem counterintuitive to apply vinegar to your hair, apple cider vinegar can be a game-changer in your hair care routine. After shampooing, dilute it with water and use it as a last rinse. It helps restore the pH balance of the scalp, removes buildup, and adds shine to your hair.

Honey

Not only is honey a natural sweetener, but it also has numerous benefits for your hair. It acts as a humectant, locking in moisture and preventing dryness. Mix honey with warm water and apply it to damp hair, leaving it on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing. Honey nourishes the hair, making it softer, shinier, and manageable.
